Love that Poetry

My Snuggle Buddies
These are my two favorite stuffed animals. Both have significant meaning to me and I have to have them every night to sleep. It may seem a little juvenile to most people, but they help give me a sense of home and the ones that I love so much. The brown fox, also know as “Foxy”, was given to me by my fiance Jeff. It was such a simple surprise he gave me , yet it means so much. The pink bear was given to me by my dog, Ace. Well, it was actually given to me by my mom, who just put Ace’s name on the gift, which makes it that much more special. I adore both of these stuffed animals so much and they are always on my bed for me to see.

My Beautiful Engagement Ring

My Cell Phone
So much depends upon…

So much depends upon
my diamond embellished engagement ring
Bright and sparkling
when in the light
A symbol of
our love and committment
and a glimpse into our
our future together. <3
I Wish…

Ace, when he was about 8 weeks old (he was still black and tan)
who is at home
with my parents,
was here with me instead.

Dana…I love this picture of you and Ace!
That poem is just so honest.
Thank you for elaborating on each photograph. I enjoyed reading about each item’s significance. I like the phrase “…embellished engagement ring” from your So Much Depends Upon poem.

Dana,
I really like all three of your poems. They are so simple, yet the meaning behind each one is so deep. I love them, and they are something you can cherish forever. It really shows that poems are expressions from the heart. Great job!
